The following presentations can be forty-five (45) minutes to two (2) hours, including questions and answers. Informative handouts for each topic.

  • BOOK PUBLISHING OVERVIEW:getting published.
  • GETTING STARTED: The process of writing a book-length manuscript.
  • INTERNET MARKETING: How to promote yourself and your writing on line.
  • MAKING IT REAL: Injecting Sense of Place into your history memoirs and fiction.
  • MYSTICISM IN THE 19TH CENTURY: A look at the interesting dynamics of cults and new philosophies in the 1800s.
  • ONLINE RESEARCH: Where and how to search and how to compile your findings.
  • READINGS: From Kae's fiction or poetry, this presentation will include discussion of the how and why each piece was written.
  • REWRITES AND CRITIQUES: What to look for to refine completed works.

The following writing programs are available for one-day to two-day workshops. More information on request.

  1. CRAFTING A NOVEL: Hands-on writing to learn effects of different voices and points of view in character development.
  2. IDEA TO BOOK: Two-days--includes "Getting Started" and "Book Publishing Overview". Optional manuscript evaluation.
  3. USING THE WORLD WIDE WEB: Two-days--includes "Online Research" and "Internet Marketing"
